I couldn't believe it ,it was so great to hear from Tresa, Jen, Steph, and Chris!! Thanks for writing. when are you guys going to start a blog?!!!! I have had a busy tiring week. Our friend had a major reconstrutive surgery on his arm. It was hard for me to see a strong young man laying in bed in pain. I was very bothered by this. We brought him home today. His name is Abraham and he takes care of his own family and his father's family because he abandoned them. He carries a heavy load for a 21 year old. we also had john Muchuri and his sister and brother here on Sunday. it was a great day!! john taught himself how to ride a bike, I made a cake with Miohaki and Mwangi just played, it was glorious!! My kids were so good to them, they really understood there was ministering going on that day!! But after they left Bruce and my neighbor had noted that the shape of their stomach meant they had worms. So I went to town Monday and bought the meds for it, so Tommorrow is deworming day!!!! Lydia is still lingering with sickness so she has been home alot. it has been nice to have her here, it brings back the good old days of homeschooling and bringing all my kids with me. She is enjoying participating in all mine and Sadie's daily adventures!! I'd love to hear of all my friends adventures. Life is full of amazing opportunites, everywhere and every day!! Do you agree? Love Ellen

Hi, Ellen... missed you a lot last night, Travis outdid himself with fireworks. Lots of new faces at the get together - the Hunnyaddies, for one, who have just purchased a cow and are making ice cream (heh heh). How's that for homesteading? It rained here yesterday, and some this morning, now it's muggy and overcast, mostly. Moving day in 6 weeks for us...if all goes well. Have band tonight - yes, life is full of the usual, just as it seems to be for you? Making cake! Did you wear your apron? I am glad folks are reading your blog. I forgot to check the church bulletin to see if your blog was in there. I'll keep speading the word, though... sending our love today (Wednesday).

Travis and Brian did a crazy show at the Sprague\'s... What is so wickedly funny is that Travis thought he needed to be dressed up for the event...and Brian got his hair cut and wore a miner\'s light on his head. It was fun to see so many different people...I had my white Chevy conversion van covered with all the Grenier kids...Karen fell off the very top. There is talk that next year there will be music to go with it. Of course some folks won\'t come because of the \"illegal\" element of the mortars...oh well, I will try not to lose sleep over it.
Oh and teapots...they did post Ellen\'s blog in the bulletin, or I would have never known.
.
Sorry
