A sick child and a single father

Today I spent the day by the fire in cold, raw kijabe with a sick child. My 4th born Lydia had a fever so she slept and I was able to use the time to catch up on my letters and emails. it was a good time together. Later on , my neighbor came for a visit then the father of the children I've befreinded came to visit. he wants my husband to help him cut some wood. i hope he can find the time to help because we want to encourage him in his parenting. His wife is dead and he is raising 3 children alone. The children do the womens work and he tries to eek out a living making charcoal. It is a hard life and we try to bring some light into those kids darkness..... If you read this say a quick prayer for nthuku and his children muchuri, moihaki and mwangi.... Thanks for caring.....

What an adventure you must be having!
I will keep the poor little family in my prayers and I tank you for posting the request. it is so easy in our modern America to forget other countries and their needs.

You were catching up on letters and emails??? And why didn't I get an email??? he he WOW--I get to check up on you more regularly! Love ya! Jennifer Ps--Tell Lydia happy birthday, we thought of her yesterday.
