Today is the day of lots of posts.

Heading out in a little while to take my youngest to my oldest's party at school.

Young Kenny was in charge of dinner tonight, have I mentioned to you how proud I am of this kid ( who btw is not currently my favorite LOL, HE would be in PA and not actually mine although he has captured a piece of this momma's heart through my daughter.) anyway, I digress... Kenny is doing so well and still has moments of indecision, of worry, of sadness, but on the whole is achieving his goals in a most certain way.  He LOVES to cook, but he really wants to do that in a bigger kitchen than mine.  I am debating on whether we should rent the church kitchen for a day or two in December and let him run with it.  I think I would have to buy another freezer... okay so I was thinking about that anyway...

so my oldest.  I worry.  I worry that things are not what they seem, and yet there is still this peace that surrounds me when I think of her and him together, so I will not ignore that but will ignore the outside forces that seem to want change.  These two young people need strength to withstand the bumpy road they have come upon.

what else?  The house was a bit cool this morning but husband stoked the fire up and still it took me a few hours to get it to the point where my feet weren't cold and now we have crossed the line into hot and the cat was just walking around in a bikini holding a lemonade!  and for some reason the house smells of that candle... the apple pie one.. oh wait. someone left it on the candle warmer, that makes sense.  Wish she would tell me when she does stuff like that... wonder if the cat wants to dip his tail in it??? ( not the same cat wearing the bikini)
