a bright new day

It is a bright sunny clear day here in the Adirondacks.  the wind is blwoing everything around and I am waiting for it to subside a bit so I can go out and clean up the mess that yesterday's gales brought.

this week I am continuing to work on projects that must get done.  Cate will be my biggest helper in all of this, but she does have play rehearsal on some nights so that will curtail what gets done.  I am ever hopeful that the craft storage room will be done soon.

the leaves are almost gone from the trees, just one tree in my yard is stubbornly hanging on...

our saturday night bonfire was cancelled due to the rain we had.
