We have spent the last several days cutting firewood, it is a back breaking job, sometimes its cold, sometimes its hot.  We have a nice pile of wood though, and it has all been free so far, so we are so thankful for that.  I have a hundred gallons of fuel oil in the tank and I have no intention of purchasing more if I don't have to.

this morning I started a fire in the woodstove just to take the chill out of the house.  No one stacked wood in the bin, so I will have to do that at some point today.  Feeling rather blah today, taking care of the household chores but not much else. Need an energy boost.

We just chopped up 4 cords. Still a little more detail work to do.....but juuuuust about done! ;)
