Vacation Bible School ends this evening.  It's been a good week and I really feel as though I have grown in the Lord... not sure about the kids though.  They seemed more interested in the water balloon fights etc last night LOL.

I am trying to let nothing uncomplimentary come forth from these lips... its SO HARD.

My husband has been away from the family for 11 days.  He is arriving home today and I said to my kids NOT ONE OF YOU IS SLEEPING IN MY ROOM TONIGHT... and then I gave them permission to install another air conditioner in the girl's room so everyone can sleep in there. LOL.

It's raining today and Praise God for that!  Hopefully it will not be so hot out today.  I need to pick some lettuce and some spinach, this year I tried a different variety of spinach and I am not so sure about it, the leaves are not very large at all... sigh. live and learn.

I am going to dig out my pressure canner and get it tested at our cooperative extension  very soon.  Then I am going to attempt to can chicken.
