• Mar. 13, 2006 - Organizing my Days

I signed up for the "Large Family Logistics" yahoo group...even though we are only a family of six.    It has been great!  I liked it so much better than Flylady because it was more tailored to what I needed. so I unsubbed from Flylady.  Dont get me wrong, flylady is great, but this was a better fit for us! It is based on the flylady system (at least it seems that way)  It has reminders like table time for homeschooled children and mama time  It has days set up like:  Laundry Day, Errand Day, Desk Day etc, and then it has times....morning routine. do the next thing.  There is more, but I am not going to go into all of it, you can check out their website:  Large Family Logistics.

I have been battling whether to have my Laundry day as Monday or my bread baking day, but then I was thinking why can't I do both!  So today I am going to give it a try!

My corn bread the other night came out great!  I had used popping corn to grind and even on the course setting it didn't seem to course.  It gave a pretty smooth texture!  It was a big hit!

I posted about this last ngiht on my blog, about needing to get a good routine I can handle! I tried Flylady, and it is great, but I can't handle the million emails and I wanted something a little simpler. I only have 2 children and neither are in school yet, but this iste has some great tips :) Thank you!

I too have loved and enjoyed FlyLady. I credit her with getting me up off my butt and getting it in gear! I am past the email stage but still need that push sometimes. I will look into this website. Thanks for sharing.

I learned a lot from Flylady also, but certain days for doing certain things didn't work for me. I tried it that way but surprises always came up that I didn't count on. I do better with just a simple everyday routine and then wing it from there on what needs to be done at the time. I usually make my "today" list out the night before or that morning.

I had a separate email account for Flylady that I haven't checked in quite a while and I didn't unsubscribe. It's probably "froze" now with so many emails!
