• May. 25, 2007 - A Three Hour Test and more
Well it has been a hectic week. My sister and her family came in from out of town (actually out of state). We had a fun, but short time together. While my sister was here, I was very much surprised with a surprise shower, definitely was not expecting it. It was so nice to get together with some of my friends all in the same place. I ended up with 2 car seats and 3 pack n plays.....I hope I am not having twins. LOL!
My sisters & co (my other sister had come down for it) left the next day. After all the late nights & early morning and no naps...I awoke yesterday with a cold and also and email from my midwife saying to hurry up and take my 3 hour glucose test. My darling friend (same one who hosted my shower and that we are going camping with this weekend) watched my children while I went for it. Things went better than I expected (dont know the results yet), but I didnt throw up or pass out and was actually able to walk to the Wendy's a 1/2 mile up the road for some protein after it was over. Now to get ready for our camping trip this weekend. We were supposed to leave today, but hubby's business has him hopping, not sure I am exactly looking forward to this (we tent camp), but neither do I want to be left behind either.
