I was able to harvest some lettuce from garden last night. We discovered some garlic mustard growing wild so threw that in as well. The spinach should be ready next week hopefully. I do have a problem with my radishes.....the leaves are beautiful and luscious, but the radish roots are scrawny.....is something lacking in my soil? I planted them about 6 weeks ago, so they should be about ready to harvest.
My midwife was out delivering a baby on Monday, so my appointement has been postponed until next week. Hopefully I haven't gained anything and the baby hasn't grown more than it should or it is probably off to an ultrasound I go! :(
Thats about all the excitement in my life....except today is my 10th wedding anniversary! |
