• Jan. 30, 2006 - Classes for Homesteading

I received our Adult Education pamphlet in the mail today.  Usually I glance through it and end up throwing it in the trash, but today some of the classes caught my eye, because they are things I have wanted to learn.  Here is a list of classes that are availabe that I am interested in:

How to start a small business
Basketweaving
Goat Milk Soapmaking
Knitting
Pottery
Quiltmaking
Facts, tasting, Etiquette, and a Genuine Tea Party
CPR
Backyard Gardens: How to grow beautiful Organic Gardens Economically
Electriciy and Electronics
Home Energy: conservation and renewable sources
Landscaping
Geneology for Beginners
Natural Pet Care
Boating Skills

Just another opportunity to learn these skills.

I love the continuing ed classes offered at our local community college. It's been a good way to learn and meet others.

I'm going to have to pay more attention to ours next time. There's never been anything that cool on it! Usually it's just accounting, computer stuff; same old. Some of those classes you list sound great!
