• Jan. 19, 2006 - Pampered Chef RAH!

I've been busy getting ready for my Pampered Chef party tomorrow night.  I just love their stuff, especially their baking stones.  I used to use the aluminum pans for my cookies and almost always burned at least one batch....I have never done this with PC stones, unless of course I left them in the oven for over an hour (didnt set the timer because I will remember, yeah right)...and even then they were a very dark brown.  Their food chopper is just amazing.  I always hated chopping onions, but with this you just chop, chop, chop (dont need to worry about fingers) or in my case bam, bam, bam and I can get some frustrations out at the same time (uh oh, moms chopping onions again and its not even time to make supper).  It is also good for chopping nuts, carrots etc.  I just got their deluxe cheese grater and it is so nice....I start singing to it when I am grating "You are my cheese grater, my lovely cheesegrater, I grate with you, YEAH, I grate with you (to the tune of Veggie Tales "You are My Cheeseburger".

I could go on and on about their products I just love them, but I wont.  If I didnt already have half their kit, I might consider being a consultant, and I am not getting paid for this mini commercial.  I just love their stuff.

I love their stuff, too!! Daughter, Joy, has bunches of stuff because she goes to many parties and hosts many. I go to her parties only because I can't afford (space or $$) to get too much. But their chopper IS neat!!! That's something I might get someday.

Who doesn't like their stuff. I was so upset that on one of our moves my round stone pan, you know the one they make that apple dessert in, got broken and I've never replaced it. I love the chopper as well cuz I don't have to shed a tear when chopping onions anymore and I just finished chopping nuts with it for cookies about an hour ago.
Nice blog and great background. Kudos to your nephew. I look forward to reading more.

Yes you are right about Debi's book being convicting. I had to stop and put it down at times because it was a two-edge sword. But I was drawn back to it quickly after. Had this word come to me at another time in my life, I don't think I would have received it. The book would have set on my bookshelf, unread. But God had prepared my heart to the point of desperation and I was crying out for help. Nothing was working anymore, I couldn't trust myself to make decisions any longer, everything was falling apart. We'd lost our home to foreclosure, which I'm not proud to admit but I share to give an idea of how far to the bottom I had to sink. It was then that I was ready to hear just how vile my inner man was. Jezebel is not a pretty picture.

Thanks for your kind words. I can't wait to visit your blog more often.
Living simply and for Him,
Sherri
