I am just not feeling very creative blog wise recently. I guess
its summertime lazy mode! :) We lost one more chicken 2
weeks ago, which I realized I never posted about. It belonged to
my oldest daughter. She was devestated, but quickly got over
it. ;0 ) When I told she could have Goldy as her chicken
now. I actually saw the dog eat it, so now I know he is the
culprit. I clipped their other wings, put in a gate (we just were
hopping over the fence and added chicken wire around the top and
haven't had anymore escapees and casualties (Thank You Lord). I
am not sure I could have taken it emotionally for my daughters
sake. Hopefully they will start laying next months. Hubby
needs to hurry and get the nest boxes up.
I have gotten back into bad sugar habits this week and am paying for it
with insomnia tonight. Hopefully I wont have a sugar low later,
since I am taking my dd8 to the dentist and then we are having a
family over for dinner this evening. Once her appointment is over
I should have everything I need except for a notarized affidavit, to
comply with the PA homeschool laws.. Homeschooling in NY
seems like a breeze compared to all that you have to do for PA.
Went to a friends house today that I havent visited with in a
while. I mean I see her at church every Sunday and Wednesday, but
we havent gotten together to just talk lately. It was a nice
relaxing afternoon and my children enjoyed getting out and playing with
her children.
Been blog visiting and trying to catch on my blogging friends this
summer, but now need to go to bed and try to get some more sleep!

Raising maidens of virtue is excellent, So Much More by the Botkin Sisters is EVEN BETTER. I Highly, Highly, Highly, Highly, recommend So much More before you buy anything else. If you can, purchase it before you buy Raising maidens...
Highly Recommended.
