I saw this at Linda's Blog and decided to be a copy cat (hey she encourages it): 1. How many meals does your family eat at home each week? We almost all our meals at home, with the occassional eat out or invite out! 2. How many cookbooks do you own? Do
the little seasons best size one from pampered chef count?
Probably a couple of dozen, I weed through them when my box gets to
full. 3. When you cook, do you follow the recipe pretty closely, or do you use recipes primarily to give you ideas? I try to follow it pretty close the first time and after that I play around with it. . 4. What's your favorite kitchen task related to meal planning and preparation? (eating the finished product does not count) Snitching a taste. :) 5. Do you plan menus before you shop? I try to or at least have a few meals in mind. 6. What are your three favorite kitchen tools or appliances? Kitchen aid, Grain Mill and Stoneware 7.
If you could buy one new thing for your kitchen money was no object,
and space not an issue, what would you most like to have? Apasta maker attachement for my Kitchen Aid. 8. Since money and space probably are objects, what are you most likely to buy next? Ummm, not sure. 9. Do you have a separate freezer for storage? Yes!
but that doesnt mean I use it necessarily for freezer items.
:) Right now it is empty, but we are supposed to getting
some beef soon. 10. Grocery shop alone or with others? Sometimes alone, if I can manage it, but usually with my children. 11. How many meatless main dish meals do you fix in a week? I try to make at least one 12. If you have a decorating theme in your kitchen what is it? Favorite Kitchen colors? Favorite kitchen color is cobalt blue, our decorating theme (when we are ready to decorate) is antique kitchen things. 13. What is the first thing you ever learned to cook and how old were you?
I am not exactly sure, but I think chocolate chip cookies. Maybe
5? My mom would sit us up on the counter when she was baking and
would let us "help"
