• May. 9, 2006 - Favorite Cookbooks
Glenda was asking this on her blog! So here goes: 1) Better Homes & Garden (from the 1980's or early 90's). This is my good old fall back on cookbook!
2) Sally Fallon's "Nourishing Traditions" although I use it more as a
reference that for the recipes. Lots of great information. 3) Bread for Life Vol 2 by Beth Holland - good informaion and good recipes
4) My Cookbook - this is the one I grab the most! It has most of
my favorite recipes in it. It is just a 3 ring binder with page
protectors. Whenever I find a great recipe, I type it up on
the computer and print them out! I also post them on my recipe board as a back up. Feel free to add your favorites! 5) I also love the Taste of Home cookbooks that focus on a particular theme like "Ground Beef" or "Breads"
6) More-with-Less cookbook, I believe it is Mennonite of origin.
My SIL gave it to for a wedding gift and has some great recipes! I do want to get some Sue Gregg cookbooks, as I have heard so much about them. I also want to get "Wildflour" by the Country Baker. Any more recommendations? (now you know Glenda, why I didnt answer in the comments LOL)

• May. 10, 2006 - Oh
Most of my recipies in the last 9 months (since trying to eat healthier) have come from:
http://www.thefamilyhomestead.com/recipes.htm
and
http://www.hillbillyhousewife.com/recipeindex.htm
The family homestead..>I have no idea how I ever got there...but it has CHANGED my life...how we eat, what we eat, why we eat it...It has been a great blessing to me!
