I grew up loving Little House on the Prairie show as well as reading the books.  When I became a mom, I started liking the TV shows a whole lot less and the books much better.  I recently joined a yahoo group for those who follow "The Well Trained Mind" in whole or in part.  I was reading through some of the most recent posts and somebody recommended this CD that has songs from the books.  More CD's are supposed to be produced with more of the songs.  It is really great.  They have some samples on their website.   http://www.pasfiddle.com/  .  If you liked the music from "O Brother Where out Thou"  You will really enjoy these.  I ordered a copy for my SIL for Christmas (of course I had to listen to it first just to make sure there was nothing wrong with it :) ) and plan to get one for me as well.  My children enjoy listening to it too!  Just wanted to share my great find.
