I have so enjoyed reading & learning from all of the homesteading blogs that I thought it was time for me to set one up for myself.

I am 42 years old (turning 43 in April), I have been married now for 21 years to Tom.

We have 2 of the best kids in the world! A girl Kelly - 11 & a boy Kristopher - 16.

My life revolves around my family and I love it! I wouldn't have it any other way .

We live in a small town by Flagler Beach, Florida - We have two acres (not enough land - We wish we had more). We are absolutely animals nuts! We have goats, chickens, a horse, a guinea pig, two cats, & a ton of dogs. I sure hope to be able to get a garden going this year, but our goats keep getting out of their pen.....

We are approx. 30 minutes from the ocean - which I always find to be such a beautiful & tranquil place. I am a NEVER bored kinda person, I just think there is so many things to do and learn.

I love reading all of your blogs and I hope mine becomes as enjoyable as all of yours are!

I am new too, just thought I would say Hi. We were born in the same year, but I was born and live in Australia. I have been married for 21 years too.

My eldest is 17 and the youngest 4.

Donna, we have a lot in common, I'd love more acreage too and we have goaties and chickens, ducks and geese for now. Our 2nd doe is due to kid anytime...we just had 3 babies born 2 weeks ago. Life has been very hectic here due to very late winter storms.....it has been hailing here in Southern California for 2 days and we have no barn for the goaties! FUN! HEHE
