Went to the dr.

I didn't sleep much last night.  It was 1:30 and I was still awake.  I wrote a note to Perry and dh that I wouldn't be able to take Perry to the prayer breakfast.  They all had a camp out in the basement since I was sick.  DH woke me up (not on purpose) when he came to the bedroom to get his glasses.  Before he left, he told M & L that I was sick and they got dressed by themselves.  It was raining so I had to get dressed and drive them to school.  I sat there, driving, with Molly's flute and book in my lap.  She got out of the car and I didn't give it to her!  I realized it when I was getting out of the van at home!  I could've gone right back, but I needed to get inside to call the dr.  I wanted to see the ENT, but they were booked up for 2 weeks.  I may go there to see about my deviated septum.  ANYWAY, I was able to see my reg. dr. (well, nurse practitioner) right away!  She was so nice.  I got a steroid shot, 2 bottles of sample nose spray and 2 Rx: 1 antibiotic and 1 cough med. w/codeine.  I'm feeling a little better, but my body still aches.

Natcher's fall festival is tomorrow night and our family has been the main auction coordinators.  DH and his mom and bro. are going over there tonight to arrange everything in the music room.  I know I'll be even better by then, but I really hope I'm 100% better.  It's such a big night for our family.  ALSO, my neice, Ashley is a homecoming queen candidate at Greenwood!  Molly & I hope to make it to the game for the "crowning".  I doubt she'll get it, though, because there is a girl w/Down's who is also a candidate and usually the special needs girls get it (if they're a candidate).  This girl is very sweet and her mom teaches at Greenwood.  She does the pledge every morning, Perry said.

I can't believe See You At The Pole came and went!!!  I realized it last night when I looked at the paper and read one of the headlines.  Even though I had not organized it at Natcher, I was planning on just me, M&L standing around the flagpole, praying, in hopes that others would join.  But, I was so yucky yesterday.  I didn't even go to BSF.  My neighbor and classmate, Glenda, is supposed to bring me my lesson.

Oh, here's a list of Murphy's Law examples for me (well, maybe not Murphy's Law exactly, but you'll see what I mean):

  1. 99% of the time that I toss something in a trash can, it doesn't go in.
  2. 99% of the time that I put a can, jar, bottle, etc. on a shelf, it ends up being with the label facing away from me.
  3. 99% of the time that I decide to make a list, I get stuck and can't think of anymore!!!

Okay, I guess that's all for now.
