Oh, this is probably silly, but I thought that the name "The Maintenance Room" would be a good name for a spa kind of place. A place where you get manicures, pedicures, facials, hair done, etc. It sounds like a rough place, I know, but I thought of it while I was in the shower this morning. Molly had her 3 church friends spend the night last night. They had SOOOOOO much fun! I could not believe it this morning when they said they didn't go to sleep until 3 am! I didn't hear them at all. Lacey spent the night with Minnie last night and when she came home this morning she was crabby. Downright mean, actually. I said, "Let's hurry and get out of here and get to the library and she'll get back to normal. Molly and her friends played Uno while we were in storytime. We then went to W-M and they ate at McD's while Lacey and I got a few things. But, the most important thing I WAS SUPPOSED to get, I forgot! It was Johnny's bp medicine. I'll have to go back tonight and get it. I need to go to Staples and use my $3 coupons to get a paper clip holder for the computer desk, batteries and packing tape. Last night after Molly and her friends played in the sprinkler, I let it stay on for a while and when I went out there to move it, I yanked it to get it unhooked from the swing set and BROKE IT! So, I got a new one at W-M. I also got 2 small ones that spray the water in a swirly pattern and cover a much smaller area, too, I think. I put up the shelves last night that are doors from someone's trash. I also cleaned up the area around the computer. I still have quite a few alterations to finish plus some ironing. I made the big umbrella stand last night, too, from a 5 gallon bucket, bricks and sand. It works okay, but I'll have to see how it does in wind and how it does when I tilt it. Molly has a game tonight and I'm taking Lacey to my mom's. Johnny won't be home until 9 because he has site-based training. Perry comes home from Gulf Shores tonight, also. I will go to Jan's tomorrow after exercise to (try to) finish installing the light. I also will install the blinds in her "toilet room". Johnny helped me cut them last night. We just did so much with Lacey gone last night! She woke up early at Minnie's house this morning and so she's having a nap today (3rd day in a row!). We had a few sprinkles this morning, but that's it. We need rain so bad! Only some places in the yard need mowing. |
