Yesterday was sooo busy! We put down two scoops of mulch and planted almost 100 vinca flowers. Then, later in the afternoon, I finished the brick. But, before all that happened, I went to MInnie's to get the truck and on the way to get the mulch, I got a flat. The AAA guy came and couldn't get the spare off. So we took it to Wal-Mart (I was right in front of the new one) and they put a tire on the rim. The other 3 tires are also dry-rotted and I am still surprised I didn't get another flat after I got the mulch. While waiting for the guy to come I got some things that I had needed to get and then when he was done, I got the vinca flowers. We got red mulch this time and I'm not sure if I like it. AND, my oh, so precious striped monkey grass is SO PUNY!!! You can not see them from the road. I know they'll take a while to grow and they may not stick up far enough to see them from the road for quite some time. My lower back was soooo sore from planting the flowers and then picking up bricks and working on that. I'm glad to have it done. Friday night I did the shop at the motel. I could only get a smoking room and boy, could you smell it when you walked in the room! It was awful. I noted that on the report. They may not care since it WAS a smoking room. I think the water heater is acting up again. It comes on, fires up, then the fire goes off and back on again a few times and then finally shuts off. It did that yesterday and I look at the little green light on the outside of the controller thingy and it was blinking instead of flickering. But then, when I was working outside I heard it come on for about 10 minutes. And then last night when Molly took her shower, she had hot water the whole time. This morning, too. Right now, it just came on for a few minutes and it is now blinking 6 times. That means something important. I will work on it tonight after church. They're sharing about the Ecuador trip.
