Its been a while since I blogged.  It has just been so busy.  The garden has been producing well and  I have been so busy canning and freezing that I haven't had time to do much else.  I still need to pick green beans, lima beans and tomatoes today.  I will freeze the beans and I want to try making ketchup with some of the tomatoes.  More cucumbers and beans should be ready soon in my fall garden.

We have started schooling and it has been going great.  It is so relaxed that at first I was worried that I wasn't doing it right, but now I feel better about it.  We are doing prairie primer this year in addition to our regular schooling and it has been fun.  Last week we made butter and yesterday we made corn-husk dolls. 

I have signed the girls up for some sports at the YMCA.  We signed them up for soccer, swimming and gymnastics.  They are also still taking baton.  At first I was worried about all of the running and having to go somewhere every afternoon, but I think it might be good incentive to get the school work done each day. 

Time to get out to the garden
