I am behind on posting for the pantry use-it-up challenge, but I have been keeping up. Yesterday we had "beanie weenie". I heated up 2 cans of cannellini beans with a package of hot dogs in it. I served canned carrots with it. Tonite we had kielbasa. the meat was some from the deep freezer I got on sale last month, also I added 6 potatoes (from the garden)chopped up, half an onion chopped up and a can of green beans. I just cooked it up in the skillet till the potatoes were soft (this is a family favorite meal, we eat it a lot). I also served some vegetables with this - the leftover carrots warmed up with a can of peas and a can of mushrooms.
Tomorrow we are having company for dinner (if the snow stops) and I will be making potato soup. I will make a huge pot because I am getting my wisdom teeth pulled on Thursday morning and wont be eating much solid food.
