So far today I have done the dishes, 2 loads laundry, cleaned the kitchen, worked in my laundry room, and tended to the chickens and gathered eggs. I still need to sweep and mop downstairs, clean the half bath, clean up the playroom, clean out the van and pick up the bedroom. For dinner I will make kilbassa with cabbage and potatoes and butter milk biscuits. If I get time, I will bake some cookies. I bought some neat new chocolate peanut butter swirl chips at aldi and dh wants me to make cookies.
We had a great weekend. I babysat friday and satruday and we had our christmas pictures done, too. Sunday we had a harvest lunch at church after service. I brought deviled eggs, which we decided to rename Angel eggs. Afterword we went to salvation army and did some shopping. DH and I got some nice winter dress clothes for church, books, socks, and a dress and winter coat for dd8. They were having a great sale! We got a brand new looking london fog girls coat for 2.50 (it was 1/2 off) We also got half off all pants, a "new" set of dishes (30pieces for 2.99) and 75% off all books. All socks were also .49 cents. Skirts were 1/2 off and I got a beautiful wrap skirt for 1.00. We then went to JoAnn fabric and got my christmas present (a sewing table!!!) and some discounted yarn to crochet hats, mittens and scarves for christmas gifts. We finished up the day with a trip to Target for a new coffee maker (mine died just before church) and pajamas for the kiddos. We got each of the older girls two blanket sleepers and two long john type pj's. We got the baby 4 blanket sleepers. We also got a new carseat and a really neat salt/pepper shaker combo. It is a pepper grinder with a salt shaker on top.
Well time to get back to work, have a great day:)
