Peaceful Day on the Farm

We stayed home all day.  Walmart was calling but I ignored

it - we will have to go tomorrow though.  Dad went out

of town - he just called for his goodnight kisses.  Today we got up early and read for about an hour before the 3 year old got up.  We don't get much reading done with her running around.  I ventured outside and finally got to pruning the rose bushes.  We acquired about 12-15 rose bushes lining the driveway when we bought this place.  Lots of work but I can't wait to see what colors they are!!!

I put all 3 kids to bed at 8:30 just so Lexi would fall asleep.  As soon as she was asleep, the older 2 got to get up and have chocolate cake and chocolate ice cream.  What a great thing to fill the belly with at bedtime. 

My plan is to go snuggle up with my pillows and watch a movie.  I don't usually do that.  When I am up, I am busy.  When I go to bed, it is time to sleep.  My friend loaned my Ever After and keeps asking if I have watched it.  So, I am finally going to tell her I have watched it.

So, I better quit blogging and get on with my movie.  I have double bolted all the doors and will take the dog to bed with me.

Enjoy your movie! When my hubby is gone I also take my dogs to bed with me. They sleep with me all the time on my side of the bed on the floor, but if daddy is gone they are in bed with me and on they check on the babies too. Dogs are so wonderful.

I love that movie! One of my favorites. No bad language or questionable scenes. It has a good message plus it makes me laugh! I love the scene @ the end with the stepmother & stepsister- "I'm upper management." You'll know what I mean after you watch it! Enjoy!
