We have been taking Dave Ramsey's video class called "Financial Peace University". Dave has an AM talk radio show about finances. He has a great system for getting out of debt and not ever being in debt again. It is a different way of life than the typical American life. For example, paying cash and delayed gratification. Not really the way most of us were raised. It has been challenging for us to discuss these issues. Plus, what we are really learning, is bigger than just our finances. We are learning about MARGIN!! We need more margin in our time and our money. We need that extra breathing room and that extra down time. It is an ongoing discussion but I feel progress is coming.

Unfortunately, we haven't been very good about actually putting any of his suggestions to work. Is this a video class you're taking with a group? Or is it something that you and your husband are just watching together? Maybe that's something I could get my husband to watch, since he isn't much of a reader.
