Easter

Today was Easter Sunday and we celebrate the Lord's resurrection by attending church, having dinner with friends and having Easter egg hunts.  Our church service was a musical about Salvation, it wasn't specifically an Easter musical.  It was kind of different but I had my friend along and that is what she needed.  I rejoice when someone else is blessed.  My husband also was the worship leader in the program and I love to hear him sing.  We don't have extended family in the area so another family included us with their afternoon dinner.  The kids enjoyed hunting for candy filled eggs.  My dd3 finally figured out this year that those eggs are worth hunting for.  The girls even got to wear their matching dresses from last year.  Is that tacky to wear the same dresses 2 years in a row?

I was pretty happy.  My ds10 escaped the house with his tie still on his bed.  He was pretty happy about that.  Maybe next year.  Ties aren't the hip thing for 10 year old boys in our neck of the woods. 

Thank you Jesus for taking our sins away and for the new life we can live in you!!!!!  Nothing compares to that.
