Matthew 6:34So don't worry about tomorrow. Tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Good afternoon Everyone! Just got back from my morning bible study--We are studying "The Other Side of the Garden." Fabulous book! I love it!!! If I could pinpoint a few things from this book it would be:
Trust God--truly trust Him in everything
J.O.Y.--Jesus First, Others Next, Yourself Last! Love it!
Appreciation and heartfelt admiration for God and His Divine plan for men & women--the creation story really takes on a different meaning in this book because it becomes so important. so close. so real. God had a plan and it's awesome!
On another quick note, my twin girls gave themselves self-inflicted hair cuts. Really! I have a picture of Emma--hers really was the worst which, my husband says, attributes to the profound knowledge and intelligence that Hannah has for not allowing Emma to do as much damage to her as Hannah did to Emma.
The "no bangs" look must be in--that was all long hair--what you can't see in the back is that there is actually no hair there either--she just has the long sides. At least I can still put it up in ponytails. Oh my. Sigh.
On a brighter note, our garden is doing fabulously! We've had yummy eggplant and tomatoes! I've made fresh salsa with my chiles & today I'm going to can peaches! Say a prayer for me cause I'll need it as I've never canned peaches before! Also put me up 4 quarts of green beans gifted to me from my neighbors cousins garden! She always thinks of us and our large family! Got to love that and give a praise to God for her kindness to us!
The three little ones are in quiet time and it's not so quiet as today is the first day I let them play together. Hmm, I may need to rethink that because three can be a crowd!
Blessings to all! |
