At preschool last week, Brannan (with the help of his teacher) filled in the following statements about his daddy:

My Dad is special because…. he plays golf.

I like it when my Dad…. plays baseball with me.

I like to make my Dad smile by…. tickling him.

My Dad's favorite thing to do is… fishing.
(While Matthew does enjoy going fishing, he has not gone since Brannan was born. We don't even having fishing poles any more, so I have no idea why this one popped into his head!)

My Dad is smart! He even knows… how to work the heater.
(This just makes me laugh. It's not like our heater is complicated or anything. It's just a regular working heater like everyone else's. It's funny what impresses a four year old!)

I think my Dad is… Batman.

I just love listening to young child about what they think about their parents. My son just adores his Dad.

That is great, "my Dad is batman"...
It's funny in a way, no matter what Mom does for her baby, "Dad" is usually the first word the child learns... LOL
