My day off!

I took the day off from work today. It was sooo nice! I can get so much more done around the house when I have just one more day besides the weekend to get things done. Plus it's nice to get things done and not feel so rushed in the process... I had laundry done and put away before noon and 3 loaves of bread in the oven shortly after that.. I had time to get some other things done, made some phone calls, including a call to the refrigerator repairman... which I've been meaning to do for months! Ah, it was nice... all that done, and we still had time to go to the local children's museum with Grandma (MIL) this afternoon.  Well, here are some pictures of my exciting day! Here is our bread that we made (yummy!)  At the museum.... The three of us in the treehouse  Brannan and Heike in the hollow log. I caught Brannan in mid-something, I'm not sure what though... tumble? somersault? roll?  Inside the ferry, aka "the wet room".  Pull the lever, shoot the water.  My little monkey, I mean son...  Outside, up on the roof they have huge play area. In one corner, they have an archeological site where the kids can "dig" for dinosaur bones. Brannan loved it and didn't want to go back inside.  |
