On My Mind Today

HI bloggers,

I started knitting an eagle that represents the Air Force, since my Dh has retired from there.  I was thinking about making one for each branch of the service.  There are a lot of active and retirees that live here.

Since I started scrapbooking I found  DYI in the internet.  http://www.diynetwork.com/    They show a lot of ways to make cards and photo albums and a lot of other crafts too.   I think I''m getting addicted to it.  lol

We had lots of rain today,  finally.     All my big pails (buckets) of rain were going empty.  Rain is always great for gardening, but not weeds.  Since Dh applied the weed and feed I see everything turning green.  Hope  it starts working on the weeds too. 

Last night I didn't sleep good at all.  I was still awake at 4 am.  I wasn't able to go food shopping since my dh had my military ID, but we went to drug store and bought some milk.  I couldn't believe all the cereals were selling for $4.00 a box.  The prices there were terrible.   Half gallon of milk was $1.99. I postponed my blood test until Monday.
