On My Mind Today

January 21st. 2009

Hi Everyone,  Dh started back to work again.  Hurrah!  He will only be working part time but I really think he needs something to do besides staying home.  His boss retired and another person isn't able to work because of his health.  They called him Monday and asked if he would like to start again on Tuesday. 

Last night I wasn't ablt to sleep.  I was up ALL night.  I had the meeting today and had to wake up early, take a bath, blow dry my hair,  decided what I want to wear and leave by 7:30 am.  For some reason I have a hard time sleeping when I know I have to be up early.  Dh woke up at 5AM and finally I went back to bed for 1 hour.  I better sleep good tonight as tired as I feel now.  I wanted to post here before I close my eyes and hopefully have a good nite.  I enjoyed the meeting and had a good time.  It started at 9 am.  I had to drive a distance to get there.  I'll post more about it later.  Hope everyone has a good nite.  Cya all tomorrow.  Jeanne

Hello Jeanne!
I love winter so don't worry about me and winter too much ~~we have a warm house to come in out of the cold to. Might not love it so much if I had to live in a cold house or under a bridge.
I will try to take a picture of my quilt when it is done but then I have to find a way to post it. One of the pups chewed my camera to computer cord. But maybe one of my daughters-in-law could do it.
I am not a very good quilter yet and have only made a few quilts but the grandchildren love them anyhow. That is good I would never at this point enter them in say a Fall Fair. LOL
I have to thaw the dryer out as it is outside on the porch and hates the cold !!! That is funny too
I read a little of your blogs So sorry about your daughter Didn't read enough to find out what exactly happened there but still is awful. We lost a child to a drowning many years ago and the first time the day went by without us realizing it was a real shock. I think it means that there is a healing happening. They are safe in the arms of Jesus!
