Luminaries Weekend

Hi Everyone,

Today Dh and I decorated our yard with Christmas lights for our 26th annual Luminaires display.  We have this for two nights.  Santa is also a top a fire truck waving to everyone and wishing a Merry Christmas.  The fire department also throws candy to all the children.   Every night there are church groups, scout troops and senior citizens from Westwood and Bob Hope Village riding through our neighborhood to see our lights and many sing Carols.  A lot of people have lights on their vehicles too. 

Each year our garden club drives around to pick best decorated home and two runners up.  The first place receives a gift and they have our Yard of the Month sign until end of the year.   I also place all three yards in January newsletter. 

Tonight we drove around trying to pick out the three best decorated yards and usually it seems harder to do every year.  

Dh told me this evening that he's feeling a little better.  I told him maybe Monday he will have to make an appointment.  Hopefully not.  Cya all later.  Jeanne
