A Busy Day

Hi everyone.  Dh mowed our lawn since we've been getting a lot or rain.  First time i went outside and saw a clear blue sky for almost a week.  Next Monday I will be having some friends over and need to supply some munchies for twelve people.  I try to make low fat and carb snacks.  Does anyone have any suggestions? 

I have a list on what to clean each day.  Yesterday I vacuumed and today I shampooed the carpet.  That can really wear you out.  I already have the door windows cleaned too. 

Dh and I bought a new refridgerator.  I like the size of this one and  it also has the freezer on the bottom.  We've been looking around for 2 weeks and decided to buy the General Electric. 

I've been knitting a table runner and also decited to quilt one with apple pictures.  I'm trying to decide what to make for our family for Christmas too.  I better start now because it does take some time. 

Yesterday we received a card from our grandson thanking us  for the money we sent him for his birthday.   He's now 10 years old.  I can't beleive how fast this years seems to be going. 

We're having dinner tonight with my brother and sister-in-law.  Not sure where we are going yet. 

I have to go and finish the carpet.  C'ya all later.   Jeanne
