On My Mind Today

July 9th

Hi everyone.  Today it was very hot and humid outside.  Dh and I went to the bank to cash a check from the Garden Club.  Then we stopped at a new restaurant and had lunch.  Their prices are not bad at all.  I wasn't able to eat all of it so I brought it home for lunch tomorrow. 

I've been knitting alot lately and also some quilting.  I look back at some of my quilting projects where the tops are finished but I need to quilt them. 

My brother called around 5:30 pm right when Dh and I were just about finished eating.  He wanted to show us his new car.  Really looked nice and he took us for a drive and stopped by a pizza place for dinner.  Dh and I just had something to drink.

We talked about our land in Arkansas.  I know he wants to build and move there but I'm having so many problems lately I told him that I would rather stay here for now.  It worries me that if anything would happen to him and I would be all alone there.  Both of us don't have any family or friends there.  If i was a lot younger that would be different. We have moved so many places since we were married because of military.

Hey there!
It sounds like you had a nice day. I'm glad. I'm so sorry to hear about the pain you are in. I understand pain and don't you worry about this quilt challenge. If this one goes well, I'm sure there will be more! You just get better! Have you told your doctor about your leg? I just wondered if you might have a pinched nerve or something??? ANYWAY, have a great weekend and I'm praying for you!
