Updates

Hi everyone.  Dh and I went to the beach for July 4th and had lunch with his old crew at work.  They made hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans with chips and soda.  We couldn't believe all the people there since the gas prices are high. A lot of cars from Mississippi, Lousiana, Alabama and Texas.  We walked the beach and had a good time!!!  I think I walked too much because i'm hurting a lot tonight.  I just hope tomorrow I will feel a lot better.

Right now I hear the fireworks from our neighbors and its now 12:30 am.  I did some knitting today.  We also went to look at carpet for our living room, dining room and hallway.  We owned our home now for 14 years and haven't replace it yet but it was in real good condiition when we bought our home.

Yesterday I called Connie and asked her if she noticed any home in our neighborhood that she would like to choose for the July "Yard of the Month."  She told me her neighbors, Diane and Kenny did a lot of new landscaping and thought they should win.  They won the best decorated home for Christmas about 5 years ago. I drove over and I agreed with Connie.  Diane used to be the President of our Club and after her 2 years she decided to quit and I think a lot of people were upset.  She was busy working and raising her granddaughter at her home.  

It's not after 1 am.  I better get some sleep.  Night Night all.  Jeanne
