On My Mind Today

Sunday June 30th

Sorry I haven't posted for awhile.  I've been busy working at our entranceways.  I took the weekend off and stayed home with dh.  We had some rain last 2 days but more of it stayed north of us.  Agnes and I went shopping and I bought more yarn.  She leaves tomorrow for their alaska cruise.  She won't be home now for 3 weeks.  Hopefully someday dh and I will be able to go on one.  I started knitting today making more hot pads for Christmas presents.   

Our gas prices are 3.85 and up.  Seems like banks are being robbed a lot with the increase of prices and cars are broken into a lot also.  Especially if somebody see's a purse, money or valuable items. 

Dh is making a homemade wooden trash can.  He's doing a pretty good job.  Sides and bottom are done and has to finish the top.  He also wants to make some shelves for a corner. 

My brother left for Mexico to build a home for children.   Last time he made a library there.  He does this with some people at his church.  My other brother lives here too and I called to let him know how our sister's are  in Pa.  He told me he's going to a jail now talking to everyone there.  I told him I wish he could go to Ky and talk to the person who took the life of our daughter.  He said there are some people in Ky now preacher in the cells.  I guess I just get too upset when I hear anything about prisons.
