Some Great Deals on holiday meal items.....................
Our local grocery store was running a special for the past few days and boy did I take advantage of it!!! They had spiral sliced hams and turkeys on sale. So I am now ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Have a look at what I got:
Hams: one @ 10.51 lbs --$19.34 ( Reg. price $38.78) ; second one @ 9.13 lbs --$16.80 (Reg. price $33.69)
Turkeys; one @13.54 lbs --$5.28 (Reg. price $12.05) ; second one @ 14.46 lbs --$5.64 (Reg. price $12.87)
Now, buying the rest of the items will be easy. I plan on writing out my menu for Thanksgiving dinner this week and getting what I need by this Friday. I am hoping not to have to go near a grocery store at all at anytime next week.
REMINDER LADIES!!!!! ( I did not think about this one year, and now I never forget)
Do not forget to check your paper supplies and things you must have to live by before next week. Nothing is worst then to run out of toliet tissue or washing powder on the day before a major holiday. Nobody wants to stand in line for that.
Okay that is my tip for the holiday !!

Those are some great deals! We don't have prices like that around here....although I did get a free turkey through a promotion our store was having! Then we gave away 3 for the needy. :-)
