Wet and Cold here today....
It is getting hard to get up and started around the house on mornings liked these. A person just doesn't want to get out of bed !!
The girls are working on their school work and I am checking my emails. I have plans to get in the kitchen and bake a cake or something. I also need to bake more cookies, I believe our cookie jar is running on empty.
I am thinking about making a soup or stew for supper tonight before church. We something to warm us up before heading out. I just hope that it doesn't make us sleepy, being full and warm at the same time.
My sisters and I are busy planning our parents 50 wedding anniver. party. It will be in December, but we need to get things rolling now. I will be heading up the menu and what to serve. I will be sharing the recipes that I pick out to make for those of you that might have a holiday party or fellowship to plan for. I have already picked out several good "finger type foods" and the punch. So be looking for the recipes over the next week or so.

Yep, it was a dreary, dark, hard-to-get-out-of-bed morning here, too. I LOVE fall, but dard days just make me tired...for no reason other than lack of light.
I hope your parents' big anniversary is awesome! Ty & I just celebrated 23 years...where does the time go?

I'm having a hard time getting up also. A bit for the chilliness, but because it's pitch black!
Have fun planning your parents 50th. That's quite an accomplishment this day and age.
