Monday, Monday.........what can I say.....

Posted in Family Life

Well it is raining here and I am glad. I got to sleep in a little bit longer today and it was great. We have had a busy time around here for the past week and we all were tried.

We have been working on our homeschool work most of the day and now I need to get in to town for a few things. I don't want to have to go tonight, if it is still going to be raining. I would rather go now.

I am hoping to start a new schedule for around here this week and see if I can't get a few more things do around the house during the day. I also have so much that I am wanting to get to for the holidays, that I need to start managing my time a little better.  It is always good to be a good stewart of the time that God gives us and the home that He has blessed us with. I will be posting about these things here so stop by and read what I have to share on this topic.

Well, I need to get back to things, have a good afternoon and evening. I will try to come back on later and catch up with some of my friends here and also to post my weekly menu on my side bar.

Have a good one and remember to thank God for something today !!!

2007-Oct-23 - Good morning

Posted by Kitty

I think Tenn and La have the same time, but yeah girl I get up very early in the morning with my dh who leaves for work at 5. So I start my day early. By 6 this morning I had a batch of brownies cooling on the table and a gumbo in the pot, lol. We start school around 8:30ish untill 11:30 or noon.
You mentioned getting organized in your post, I wasn't always this organized and I was prone to anxiety attacks aka PMS (as the kids called it). I find now that I have gotten my home, life, and self organized I don't have them anymore. Dont get me wrong, if someone SETS me off, Im good to go, but not nearly as much, LOL. All really by the grace of God.
Making list really helps too. A list for each day is a good start, and menu planning is my life saver. I love to cook and the hardest thing each day was deciding what I was going to cook. Now I have my plan months ahead of time. So much easier.
Well I hope these little tips help in some small way. Oh and by the way Im heading to the post office today, so be on the lookout for you package and let me know when you get it. Im always affraid that stuff that I send will get lost in mail jail.
