93 As a 1930s wife, I am Very Superior Take the test!

I have noticed that some ladies like to list their weekly menus on their side-bars and I thought that I would try this also. I have done pretty good about writing one out for me to use in my kitchen. It has been a BIG help when it is time for grocery shopping. I have also been helped alot by reading other's list on their blogs, for getting ideas and recipes for new dishes to try for Dinner. So, I thought, that maybe I might be of some help to someone else if I listed my menu on my blog. So, starting today, I will try my best to update the list each week.

I would also love it if you would ask me for any recipes that you might would like to try, that is listed on my menu. I love trying new things and there has been many ladies here at HSB that share their recipes with us. So, if you see something that you like, just ask me !!

Now I will say now, that next week, on Thursday, I will be going out of town for a week, taking my two younger daughters with me. So the menu you see will be something quick ad easy for my husband and oldest daughter, who will be here at home, by theirselves. My daughter doesn't get home from work till a little after 6:00 pm and my husband will be getting home before her, but who knows which one will take on the cooking for the two. You know, I might need to just ask them to be honest with me, and tell me if they plan on ordering out a lot or do I spend the money on grocery items for them. I don't want to waste my budget on things that aren't going to try to cook, you know?

Well, I need to get busy around here. We are still doing some school work and I need to get back to some laundry. Does it ever end?

Have fun going away. how do you do your potato soup. I can't have any wheat and most people use wheat flour inthiers. Ask hubby and daughter what they want to do so you waste any money.
