So little time, So much to do............
It is that time of year that I want to get so much done around here. I don't know where to start. I have projects that I want to do outside and I have some for the inside. I also have quilting projects that need so attention from me. I don't know about you, but I find that I just do not quilt very much during the summer months. I love to jump right in to it once the temps get cooler. Anyone else like this? I hate it. I have so much I would like to make and sew on and I can't keep waiting for Fall and Winter to do it.
We are finishing up so things inside the house and I can't wait to be finshed in my dinning area of the kitchen / gathering room. I want to put out my Fall decorations and I can't till we get the room back together. Maybe in another week or so.
It is also the time of year that I bake more then in the summer months. I really want to get better at baking our bread. I mean, I know how to bake home-made bread, but I want to improve the way that I make it and what I use in making it . I also need to get back to baking all of our snacks and cookies. It just kills me to buy store cookies, knowing what all is it them and also how much it cost for a pack of that stuff. You know, we pay good money to feed our family junk that is taking years off of their lives. How nice of us, right?
Okay, I also need to think more towards CHristmas. We always have quite a few gifts to buy for other family members and I would like to make more of them this year. We do alot of baking during the holiday times, using some for gift-giving and some for just fellowship time with our friends. I hope to be post recipes and ideas for you here as I am making things during the next few months.
Well, it is getting late and I need to get to bed. I am hoping to get some baking done tomorrow and we have school lessons to get done also.
