93 As a 1930s wife, I am Very Superior Take the test!

We are having a very slow start to the day. I am the one setting the tone around here and I am moving very slowly. We are having a Revival Meeting at Church this week and it is so hard to get up everyday at 5:30 am and not get to bed to after 11:00pm each night.

It is only for the weeka and it is much more important for my daughters to hear the preaching of God's Word then to worry about getting in enough hours of school work for just one week. The only thing is my oldest one is still having to keep to her schedule with college and work. I know she is tried already and I am so very proud of her for doing everything and keeping up with her homework.

We will be cooking the supper for the preachers and their families on Friday evening. I am having Fried Chicken, Mashed Pototoes, Green Beans, Fresh Corn, Peas, Rolls and two types of Cobbler. Now that is what a southern Preacher wants for a meal !!! Oh yea, Gravey for the CHicken !!

Well, I have a ton of laundry to do, dishes to wash, errands to run and oh yea, school work !! Good thing I made too much meatloaf yesterday, that is what is for supper tonight before church.

Have a good one and remember to thank God for something today !

I know what you mean about the preaching of God's Word. We are looking for a church here and that is our #1 criteria. It is so hard to find.

I could never get up as early as you do. I go to bed just before you get up. I am working to change that. Your dinner sounds sooo good. God bless. mj
