93 As a 1930s wife, I am Very Superior Take the test!

It is almost Fall !!!!  I can't wait. It seems that I get so busy with things around the house when Fall comes each year. I guess it has to do with the cooler weather. With my asthma, I just do not have the energy to do anything during the summer.

I am wanting to get my mother-in-laws recipe for Apple Butter and try making a big pot of that this year. My husband tells wonderful story of how they would get together as a family and make a large copper pot, over an open fire, full of apple butter. Now that his mother is gone, I would like to carry on the tradition, if I can.

I am looking forward to the leaves changing colors this year. I love to look out my window and take in the view across the fields here at my place. Oh, and this year, I will be traveling through Tennessee and Virginia, up to Pennsylvania for a visit with my granny. It will just be me and two of my daughters going. It will be the first week of October, so the leaves should be pretty to look at.

Well, I have a lot to get done around here and some little time to do it. I will be back later to post some more about my day.
