A Look at my Kitchen

Posted in Inside My Home

Several of my friends have been asking about the “make-over” we gave my kitchen. So, for now, I am using one picture of it as my header up above and here are a few more of the “work-in-progress. We are all but finished now, just needing to install the hard wood flooring for the “dinning room” side of the room. What we did, was knock down a wall and turned two rooms into one.

kitchen.jpg This is the stove area !!

kitchen-2.jpg This is looking “long-ways” down the kitchen. The clock did make it back up on the wall, now. And I also have now placed all of my “old things” upon the top of the cabinets. It looks alot like Cracker Barrel or Bob Evens.

kitchen-3.jpg This is the one I have used as my header up above. At the time of this picture, everything was not finished.  We have finished alot since. IF you can make out the brown rug, that is where the hard wood flooring is going.

kitchen-6.jpg This a look of the work island table my husband made me. The wall in the back ground now has my “Sellers” cabinet that my husband re-built for me. It is what is know as a “Hoosers” cabinet but made by “Sellers”. I will get a picture of it made and post here also. If you can see the “barrel” trash can in the back of this picture, yes, my husband made that for me also.

Well, that is my new kitchen. Thank you for taking a look around. I am very proud of it and I love cooking and baking in it for my family and friends. Maybe one day, I can have you over for a visit.

It's lovely! Your husband is so talented. I love the big open space and the islands! I posted pics of my kitchen today, too. My hubby did the work on ours as well (we are so blessed, huh?). Thanks for sharing! :o)
