It is funny that I have been missing here for awhile......
and nobody searched out to look for me. It makes me wonder if those of us who list us as friends, really are friends (on-line).
I am having trouble feeling like I belong here. I have written post before and did not seem to interest anyone. There was a time, when some of you were friendly and would stop by and leave a comment, if for nothing else just to say "hello".
I will try again to write enties of interest here and see if I am on the "same page" with anybody or not. It could be that I need to invest my time somewhere else. Maybe I am not a "homesteader" after all.
I hope you all have a great day and that you are having great Spring like weather as we are.
Much love and blessings,
Pat in Tenn

I don't think that it's because no one is "interested." I think we just check in and out. I know folks read my blog, but don't always leave a comment - they have told me. I enjoy reading comments, but I do the same thing, I'm afraid. Especially if I have an afternoon where I can hit that Random Blog link for a while...I don't always leave word that I was there. And if you check out my blog, you'll see that there are several entries that have no comments.
But don't worry - WE LOVE YOU!!

I'm with you Kim--I read a lot--but don't always leave comments ;) Heck--I had a gal email me on my house for sale--she never said word one on my blog-- :)
So--folks are reading--just not always commenting :)
Hang around Pat, would hate to see ya go!

I hope you stay around too! I just found your blog for the first time today. I love Tennessee!!! What part do you live in? Anywhere near Gatlinburg? I have a sister that lives in Clarksville. I'm in Mississippi and invite you over to my blog anytime! You'll find there that we too are planning some home improvements in the next couple of weeks. I'll be visiting you again.
I love your blog! ~j~ Karen (southernbelle)

I agree - I read plenty of entries but only post on about maybe 1% of them. It's not that I don't care it's just that I don't really have much to add. I also don't search people out, send messages to bloggers who haven't posted in a while because I figure life has just gotten busy and the blogger will post again when life permits. Don't take it as "they don't care" take it as "they understand how busy life can be"

Same here, I never 'search out' anyone in blogland because I know just how busy life can be--some weeks I blog several times, sometimes I do good to post once a week. If you feel you must go, we'll miss ya--but I know you'll enjoy it if you stick around! The feeling of belonging is one only you can bring to yourself, you know in your heart you're a homesteader! Maybe you could email with a few ladies you've met here and be more pen-pal-ish to get that day-to-day contact? Give it a go and keep blogging!!

Not every post brings a response. I for one enjoy many different blogs but don't always take the time to leave a note saying "I've been here". Don't write for us. Write for you! Share what matters to you and don't worry about the rest. I have enjoyed reading your posts and the encouragment/information you have given me in the past!
