Good Morning Ladies,
Is everyone up and at it yet for today? I am up but not at it yet. My husband is home again today. Yesterday he was home to do a few things around here and today he is home because his knees are hurting him so bad that he can not hardly stand or walk on them.
I have my two nieces staying a few days with us. They are 12 and 14. My sister is out of town with her job and my BIL is also having to go out of town with work. They will be here till Sunday afternoon.
I still have so much to do. Today I need to go pick up my daughter's cap and gown for graduation. It will be about a 45 min drive one way. I also need to go and place the order for her Sr pictures. We just now have the money and it is going to be about $300.00. Good thing we had already left a $100.00 deposit. It will be hard enough to pay the rest it.
I next have to get the invitations in the mail today or tomorrow at the latest. I worked last night on getting the pictures ready for my friend to make us a slide show of my daughter's life for the party. It is going to be so good. My husband and I was looking at the baby photos of her and about to cry just remembering it all. She has really grown up to be a godly young lady. I give all the glory to God.
Did I mention that I still have my quilt squares to work on? I just have so much to do and I don't know when or how it is all going to get done.
Oh, yesterday I needed to go get groceries for the rest of the time till payday ( the 30th). I only had $90 left from my budgeted amount. I had been so nervous all week thinking about it and wondering how in the world I was going to get this to last. Well, yesterday at lunch, my husband and I sat down and started listing everything I had left in the freezer and we made out a menu of sorts for the days left to go till payday. I could not believe how things were coming to gather!! I really was not in that bad of shape for food. My "must have " list ended up being only about $50 and that left me extra to get a few "would like to have" type items I knew that the girls would like to have. I even have $3 left over to hold on to for another gallon of milk when needed!! God is so good and I knew that I should not have been worrying about it. I just was so sure it wouldn't work out that I never took time to look!!
Also, we thought we were really running "very low" on cash till payday and when we looked at the checking account, we found that we have plenty to get us to payday. We have to birthday parties this week-end and I thought I was going to have to use credit cards (just till payday, then we would pay it back) to get 2 small gifts and still, we have enough to do a little something for each child and still be okay. Man, God is so good and I just need to trust that He knows what we need and when we need it. It is just that we have had so many expenses this month, $1000.00 for the car repairs, $300 on the puppy, $400 for car insurance, $200 for septic tank and on and on...... These are all "extras" for us, not in the budget, you know?
Well, we are fine, there is money to get by with and food in the kitchen. Why do I bother to worry? Because I am fleshly and I tend to forget to look to my Lord who loves me more then I love myself.
Well ladies this has been long. Thanks for reading it all. I needed to say a few things to myself and I thought I would say it here.
Love you,
Pat

We all do that and it never fails that God provides all our needs. He likes for us to depend on Him in our times of trials.
Blessings,
