Monday Morning Here !!!

Posted in Inside My Home

This is what I want my home to say to all who come here to visit. I am in the "thinking & planning" stages of making some changes and improving a few things around here. Spring always makes about changes for me. Spring is the beginning for newness. Newness in my home, in my heart and in my spirit.

I love to have brightly colored flowers greet me outside my door. I love to have bright colored candles setting around my kitchen and gathering room. I even like to see brightly colored towels hanging in our bathrooms !!

It is time to start making out "Spring-time" menus for light and fresh meals to come. I even got out from back issues of "Taste of Home" magaziines to look for recipes. I love waking up with the sun shining in my bedroom window. When the sun hits our pond out front it reflects back onto my bedroom ceiling. I love it!!

What do you do to get in the mood of Spring? What type of changes do you make around home? Let us know, you never know if someone might like your changes.

Have a blessed day and rmember to thank God for something today !

2007-Mar-13 - Spring

Hey, I get out my taste of home too, how cool. Each spring I do the regular cleaning, windows ans such. put away all the long sleeve shirts and un pack the summer clothes. I also go out in Feb, and cut off twigs of my flowering bushes and bring them in to force blooming so I have a nice show here in March. I like to get out all the pinks and yellows, bright colors to deck out the house too. The family knows it spring , by all means, when I start making potato salad and cold slaw. LOL which I have been doing the past few weeks. I also start putting out my spring table cloths and runners. Have a great day. Sherry

Aren't you excited about spring! I'm totally in Spring mood. I'm working on cleaning. I did the organizing. I too am planning some spring menu's from my Southern Living cookbooks. Their annual cookbooks are great because they have recipes for seasonal foods and we are trying to live as seasonal and local as possible.
Have a great day!
Blessings,
~Farrah

your blog! Spring too has that affect on me. I have started to declutter around my home, putting things away, heavy cleaning, bagging up clothes to either save for little ones coming up later or to share with others, new crafting projects and so forth. I need to think of recipes as well.

May God bless you!
