I think I need to speak up on something ............

I am finding that there are some of us here at HSB that are being attacked about the beliefs or maybe non-beliefs. Now, first, I come here to talk and read about "home-things". I do hope that if I come to your blog home, that I will find it in good taste and up-lifting unto to the Lord. We all come from different backgrounds and beliefs. Now if you were to ask me, I would say my beliefs are the "right" ones. But what else would you think, do you think I would believe in something even though I thought it wasn't right? I respect you for what you believe in. I pray that you are making the right choice for yourself.
WIth that said, I want to say something about how others are attacking some here and causing them to leave HSB in order to get away from it.
I believe that God's Word is right and holy. And there is some verses that speak on this very thing and how I believe about this problem.
Matthew 7:15-27 (KJV)
Mt 7:15 ¶ Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21 ¶ Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
This is God's Word, not mine. But I believe it with all my heart.
Let's stop this fighting and tearing each other down. Let's work at lifting each other up, sharing our day with each other.
That is what you will find here on my blog.

I would prefer to read about things that are going to help me on my homestead. I like to be challenged but I would like it to be in a respectful forum.
Blessings,

This is interesting, This just happened a year ago and many great ladies left because of this very thing.
If you were not doing what God wanted you to do Satan wouldn't be attacking you. You have a teaching spirit, and many things to share. Keep it up, even if the attacks come. Remember we are to be the light in the darkness Eph. 5:8, and Eph 6:11-20---put on the whole armor of God, Gird your waist with Truth, Shod your feet in the preparation of peace.
I glean encouragement from your blog, encouragement to persevere in the daily tasks in my home. Thank you for that.
