Okay, This year's Christmas projects did not get finished as planned....
I have made a promise to myself to keep working on them and put then up for next year. I hate it when I don't finish something. I am not teaching my daughters a very good habit.
I have a quilt I started so very long ago, and I am going to finish it this year. So ya'll need to ask me about it ever so often until I say that it's done.
I have also been putting together a cookbook for my daughters. I want to be able to give it to them when they get married. It is recipes from each side of the family and generations back. Some will be our family favorites. I need to work on typing these out and printing them.
So here I go, I have a TO DO List for Working With My Hands:
1. Finish Christmas items
2. Work on quilt and finish it
3. Work on Family Cookbook for daughters
I think that is enough for now. Feel free to ask me about these items. It will help me to keep going. I admire those of you who start a project and finish it.
Thanks for encouraging those of us who need it.

2005-Dec-29 - I finish things, but not necessarily when I start them
Posted by BeAnxious4nothing
You see, I usually have at least 5 or 10 different projects in various stages of completion because I get bored with them before they are completely finished. That way I can have some variety to work with and choose from. In theory they all get finished eventually. but.....well, it's just a theory!
Good luck finishing your projects, it sounds like you have planned good uses for your time and you will have lasting treasures to hand down to your children.
