Merry Christmas----Happy Holidays----Love and Blessings to ALL!!!
Good Morning Ladies !!
I just want to take the time to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas !!
We have started our family time here at our home and I may not get on the computer much until Tuesday.
My small dinner party was great last night. We ended up with 8 of us adults and 8 children all together. We filled two dinner tables with food, fun, and great conversion. They stayed for over 3 hours. We laughed and cried and talked till our sides were hurting. It was great!! I can't wait till next month when we invite some more of our church families over for dinner. Laying in bed, around 3:00 am, my husband wakes me up and said, "I wonder who we will have over next month?" I just smiled and thought, "Thank you Lord that my husband also has a heart for hospitality like me."
We are treating today as if it were CHristmas Eve day, tomorrow we will be at church most of the day. So we are spending time together, baking cookies, making candy, wrapping gifts and end with watching movies and playing games.
I got up this morning and fixed a BIG Holiday breakfast. I used my buffet serving/roasting pan, I have and filled the three serving dishes with eggs, gravy and one had bacon, sausage and ham. There was a basket filled with hot biscuits. We all gather around the table to eat together and my husband started off in prayer for us. He and I both got to meeting with God over the blessings He has given us and for His Son , tears of joy were flowing. What a way to start off your day!
Well, there are Granny's sugar cookies to be made and then Peanut Butter Fudge. Who knows what else !!
I love you all and pray that you are blessed with God's mercy and grace. Enjoy this time with your family and friends and remember to thank God for something today!!
