For all of you who wants to quilt.....
I have found a great web site for quilters. It is Fat Quarter Shop. When you get there, go to Free Patterns and they are offering a handful of easy but nice quilt patterns for free. Some are for regular material and some are what you call "Fat-Quarters". A fat quarter is just a quarter of a yard of material, but cut in a different way so that you can better get a certain pattern cut out for a quilt. Some quilt patterns are more wide than long and you need a "fat" quarter of material. So these patterns call for using some of only "fat" quarters to make them. Our quilt shop in town sells fat quarters for $2.25 a piece and it is great that you can pick out different materials and make something out of it.
If you are new to quilting, go over to this site and pick out something easy and requiring only fat quarters and it will be one of the best ways to get you started on quilting.
There is one pattern for free to make a throw pillow. It only requires a total of 5 fat quarters and the pillow form that you will need to use it on. That's only about $11.25 for material.
Another pattern for free is for a table runner, it requires 1 1/2 yds of fabic for backing and binding and and then 3 fat quarters!! There is something for everyone and easy to start out with.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Much love and blessings

Quilting has been high on my list of things to learn for a long time. I've made a couple of mini-quilts with my girls and it really wasn't hard. I will definitely visit that website. Thanks!
As for pressure cookers, they are so well made these days, you really don't have anything to worry about. As long as you follow the directions, you should never have a problem. I have the All-American 21 1/2 quart cast aluminum pressure canner. It's great because this canner has a metal to metal seal, no rubber gaskets to mess with.
